I appreciate that my car isn't the best maintained example of its type, but seriously?
A plastic clip broke on the pedal assembly which meant the brake lights remained on until I pulled the plug. I managed to fix it in the work car park before heading home - by drilling through the middle of a 10c coin and a 10 yen coin and bolting them together. Not my best work, but it's the first time this car has increased in net value in a while.
The car is currently plagued by a crazy number of different electrical gremlins, most annoying is an issue I think with the ground to the AFM which causes an intermittent loss of power (but only on partial throttle). Another issue is a constant slight draw on the battery which means I need to disconnect the terminals if I plan on leaving it for more than a day or two (or leave it on charge). Another is that the headlight switch is faulty and sometimes I'll lose dash illumination and the tail lights. And also the stereo will drop out as soon as an mp3 starts playing, I have no idea why.
I swear this car is turning British on me.

that brake light thing happened on daveos cef too
the power loss on partial throttle sounds like how my car performed when the TPS was fucked, so that might be behind door number 2 if the AFM isnt the problem
look at me, im helping

The TPS output looks ok, though the PowerFC doesn't let you graph it. So that makes it a bit harder to see. The AFM voltage drops when the power drops, but that could be a side effect.
The thing is cleaning the contacts for the AFM seems to fixes it. Although it might just be it adding more fuel. I blame the floods in January. I had to drive through water and everything went to hell.

Yeh I've blamed that flood on a few things too. Unlucky.
If you're unhappy with that currency combo clip you made, you can get original plastic clip from Nissan for 6 bux.
I would have thought tracking down electrical issues in your car would be easy, seeing you've got the whole harness laying around the interior. Just splice a different coloured test light to every wire. Its Christmas.

I actually put it all back in its place. I was on some sort of completionist binge and fixed the door switches, the indicators and the boost controller.
I think I should tear it the whole dash and replace all the controls with sheet metal, toggle switches, bulbs and embossed tape labels.

Sounds like you should buy an R34
